Pooja/Puja for Ruby

Today's SUN's own day Sunday, so here is the Pooja for Ruby

Here are the details on how to perform the Pooja:


Pooja Time
Sunday during "Marshora" between 5 am - 6 am or 12 Noon and 1 pm

Pooja Articles
(1) Red Silk Cloth
(2) Wheat
(3) Dhoop Sticks
(4) Lamp
(5) 21 Yellow Flowers
(6) Prasad of Wheat Rawa Upma

Method
Spread red silk cloth before God and put wheat on it. First wash the ring with the stone set in it. Then apply Sandal, Kumkum on it and place it on the red silk cloth. Now light the lamps with 5 faces i.e. (5 wicks). Burn dhoop stick, do pooja to the ring with yellow flowers reciting Surya Mantra. Offer Upma as and prasad. Now wear the ring. After the ring is worn, donate jaggery to get maximum benefit.

Recite this mantra 108 times.

Remarks
After the Pooja is over divide the yellow flowers into 5 parts, distribute among family members
