Pooja for Red Coral

Today is Tuesday, day of Lord Mars :). . . There are a lot of stones whose Pooja is done on Tuesday. So expect a couple of posts more :)

Here it is for Red Coral:
Pooja Time

Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday for 9 days during "Mars Hora" i.e. Tuesday : 7-7am OR 1-2pm

Pooja Articles

(1) Red Silk cloth (two)
(2) Copper plate
(3) Tuar Dal
(4) Red Flowers
(5) Raagi
(6) Honey

Method

Place red silk cloths before god and spread tuar dal on it. Place the copper plate over the dal. Now place another red silk on it and again spread tuar dal on it. Wash the coral ring, apply sandal and kumkum. Take 3,6 or 9 red flowers, tie them to the ring with the help of a red thread and place the ring on tuar dal.

Begin the Pooja on one Tuesday and perform continuously for 9 times i.e. on Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays. On the 9th day wear the ring after pooja. During the pooja days after the pooja tie the Red Coral in red silk cloth and keep. Offer honey as Prasad, recite Mars Mantra and perform pooja with raagi.
